The parking structure is constructed adjacent to and under the Casino and serves as part of the Casino foundation system.
Site development includes 375,000 cu yds of cut and fill to regrade the site for onsite roads and 1,000 surface parking stalls, all new utilities, well stations and pump/filter houses, fire service and storm water management ponds. Crews are building the garage and casino structure simultaneously, using super columns that extend beyond the garage so construction of the casino portion can begin before the garage is complete. To accommodate the owner’s request to build the facility quickly, Skanska has created a complex construction sequence. On board in the early stages of design, Skanska offered considerable preconstruction and constructability services as the project took shape.
The Snoqualmie Casino project consists of: 55 acres of green field site development, construction of a new six-level, 300,000 sf cast-in-place concrete parking structure which will provide parking for 990 cars and a full-gaming, 185,000 sf casino.
